末松先生ってどんな人?

プロフィール

末松和子 Kazuko Suematsu

19XX年、大阪府高槻市生まれ。B型、てんびん座。

ラトガース大学経済学部卒業後、NYの日系総合商社に勤務。国際営業とマーケティングを担当。その後、インディアナ大学言語教育学科で修士号、博士号を取得し、2003年11月に東北大学経済学研究科に新設された国際交流支援室に留学生担当講師として赴任。2006年より、留学生と日本人学生のPBL型国際共修授業を担当し、数々の学生主体プロジェクトを指導。その功績が認められ、2008年に総長教育省、2013年に全学教育奨励賞を受賞。2013年2月に東北大学国際交流センター(現グローバルラーニングセンター)に教授として着任。2014年より副センター長として、国際教育プログラムの開発、留学生の派遣・受入教育・支援、国際戦略の立案等を担当。専門は異文化間教育学、国際教育。

Born and raised in Osaka, she is an outspoken fun-lover.
As the Deputy Director of Global Learning Center of Tohoku University, Prof. Suematsu wears different hats, being responsible for developing international strategies for the university, internationalizing curricula, teaching intercultural education classes, managing international programs, directing various teams involved in developing study abroad programs, and supervising both incoming and outgoing students. Her contributions to promoting project-based intercultural co-learning classes have been acknowledged with several awards by the university. It is absolutely her passion to teach multicultural classes!
