第16回ランチタイムＦＤ 「ＥＲ＠ＴＵ：東北大学での多読プログラム」
16ht Lunchtime FD Seminar: "ER@TU: Extensive Reading at Tohoku University"

高等教育開発推進センター主催・共催行事 　

発表：シャーロン・ベン 講師（高等教育開発推進センター、専門：第二言語の習得・外国語教育・日本の英語教育）

東北大学では英語多読プログラムを２００９年から実施しはじめ、その後4 年間にわたって高等教育開発推進センター、大学教育支援センターおよび東北大学付属図書館の支援のもとにさらなる開発改良を重ねてきました。
２０１２年度現在、高等教育開発推進センターの教員５名がこのプログラムを授業で実践しています。それらの授業において、学生の能力と成績の向上にはとてもよい結果が見られ、学生による授業評価も大変に高いものでした。
今回のランチタイムＦＤでは、このプログラムを紹介し、その目的と幾つかの成果について述べ、さらにこれからの計画と展望についても論及したく思います。

Speaker: Ben Shearon (Senior Assistant Professor at CAHE)

The English Extensive Reading Program at Tohoku University started in 2009 and has been developed over the last four
years with the support of CAHE, the CPD, and the Tohoku Univers ity Library.　In the current 2012 academic year five teachers in the Centre for the Advancement of Higher Education are using extensive reading. Student achievement and feedback has been very positive. In this lunchtime FD, Ben Shearon will introduce the program and its aims, some results and talk about future plans.
