教育関係共同利用拠点提供プログラム キャリア教育 W-03
The first seminar on the topic, “University Globalization” started two years ago to try to identify the root causes of the current weak Japan by focusing on the differences between “Japanese university education and employment systems” and those in other countries. Through this Seminar, we want to identify more potential root causes of the weak Japan and extend our focus to weak Japanese writing capability of Japanese university graduates that has been leading to poor self expression and communications capability. The seminar is two fold: Track 1 deals issues with Japanese graduates / how Japanese graduates are different from those in foreign countries and expectations to Japanese graduates, Track 2 deals how Japanese writing skills are taught in high schools and universities compared with the writing courses in the universities in America and others.
