Teaching drives my passion for connecting mathematical theory with real-world applications. I believe in making challenging concepts accessible to students from diverse backgrounds through engaging and interactive learning experiences.

My academic journey began with pure mathematics, earning my PhD in algebraic combinatorics, before transitioning to applied data science. Previously, I worked as Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Data Science at GSIS, where I developed and taught courses including Big Data Training, Data Science Camps, and machine learning. This unique background gives me perspective on both theoretical foundations and practical applications, which now enriches my current role at IEHE’s Global Learning Center.

Currently in the FGL Program, I teach fundamental mathematics courses including Linear Algebra to international students. My transition from graduate-level data science instruction to foundational mathematics allows me to demonstrate how advanced applications build upon core mathematical concepts. I incorporate my interest in games and visual design to develop innovative teaching methods that transform traditional mathematical learning into interactive experiences.

Looking forward, I am excited to expand my teaching contributions within IEHE, covering additional courses that bridge mathematical foundations with real-world applications, helping prepare students for global opportunities.
